"I am still amazed at what a powerful training tool Simation is. One of our Regional Sales Managers sat in on the training and was so enthusiastic to see what the program could achieve." ~ AstraZeneca South Africa
1. Where can I use the Simation Excellence role-playing training games?
The Simation Excellence game format is designed to be used in a variety
of locations. It has been used in head office sales training classes, and
variations are also used at regional and national meetings.
2. How much will it cost?
Customization of Simation Excellence and a training course rollout varies
from one company to another, so we quote on an individual company basis.
Generally, when we provide a pilot, it will include a totally customized
Simation Excellence course (i.e., game board, materials, software, customer
database, pre-course work, and customer records) and two Simation trainers.
Costs are very reasonable, and can be provided quickly upon request.
3. Are the Simation Excellence games customizable?
Absolutely! We provide a business game with your products, your working
environment, and your customers. Realism is very important in helping
representatives accept training. We go to great lengths to ensure that
your game is as close to your business as possible.
4. Can I just run a pilot to see how the game will fit into my organization?
We can provide a no-strings-attached, customized pilot at an introductory
price. This will ensure that you get what you want. The course will be ready
to go after completion of the pilot phase, and we can discuss with you a
variety of ways to provide the training.
5. Who runs training for the game, and how much involvement will my department have?
We take care of everything, from designing to training. Part of our service
is to take the workload off your desk. Alternatively, if you want your
training team or managers to run the courses, we will provide a one-day
train-the-trainer course.
6. What's the basis of the game?
The Simation Excellence Business Game is based on the idea that enjoyment
can open the door to learning. And by encouraging enthusiastic participant
interaction, the game invites players to share best practices.
7. Can it be used in other areas?
Most certainly. The Simation Excellence Business Game lends itself to a
number of different training scenarios. These can range from one day to
just a couple of hours. Some other uses include:
• Teaching the sales force a new marketing strategy
• Role-playing with new marketing materials
• Refreshing the sales force when preparing for a product launch
• Evaluating potential sales candidates
• Encouraging team work among companies that are co-promoting
8. May we talk with other Simation clients about their experiences?
We will be happy to provide references, at your request.
